Hey guys I hope you all got through the summer okay, and hope that you get that tennis scholarship this year. I want to talk about how your breathing has a effect on your hole game. If you can’t RELAX you will not be able to play your best tennis, because your muscle will be too tight to get a fluid stroke. In todays POWER game you don’t have time to be nervous or up tight, things are happening too fast. That why you have to learn how to get in the FLOW when you play, this is also for practice play. I would define flowing, as going with the flow of the point or match, but staying CENTERED, this will keep you BALANCED and focus. The thing here is to try to recover after every point, always get mentally prepared for the next point, most matches are decided by one player who gives in, because they couldn’t stay centered. So, how does breathing play a role in this, well, your ability to breath smoothly will determine if you are able to stay balanced. Watch the pros and you will see this happens all the time in matches, study the one who is CHOKING and notice his or her breathing! I feel the best way to learn this is to breath very deeply after a point, then LET GO, what this does is, it helps you release the tension inside of you. Next, don’t try, just breath slowly, focusing on the next point. You should feel a calmness inside you okay, do this every time after a point. The results are going to blow your mind! All it takes is a little practice on your part, start slow and try to get better slowly at it day after day!One on One coaching(how to be a In your Face player)
