The SAT

Happy Holidays and let me wish everyone a great new year, lets make sure we get that tennis scholarship to the school of your choice next year. The SAT seems to be a problem for most student and I think the test is unfair, because it doesn’t really show the IQ of the students, but lets get onto how to study for the test, I feel you are best to just improve your OVERALL knowledge of all the subjects, I mean try to get a deep understanding of them and be able to recall that knowledge at will. Sounds complicated , I know in my case I was always a good students, B average but my SAT score where low so, I had to take it many times before I passed. What I found out later was if I would have study the above way I could have use more of my BRAIN during the test, what happens is because our LACK of knowledge on the subject our brains tend to SHUT down during the testing! Its that fight or flight thing again, we really need to look at our educational programs and make sure that to students are retaining) what they are learning. See, its one thing to memorizes something, but its another to LEARN it! So, if you want to improve your SAT scores start trying to LEARN the subject in a more broader scope as to just trying to remember it for a test, then forgetting it after you take it. Which is what is happening now in the schools system, read this again if you didn’t get the point I was trying to get across to you!
